End of Life Photography
Love, Sadie: Celebration of Life Sessions
Inspired by this sweet Sadie girl, our End of Life photography sessions are meant to celebrate your life with your best friend. These are 45-minute sessions for pets who are terminally ill and at the end of their lives.
End of Life care can be expensive; vet bills pile up. So, these sessions are discounted from my normal portrait sessions, and a portion of every single session gets donated to a local rescue as a memorial donation in the pet’s name.
These sessions are quiet and intimate, designed for you to celebrate your life with your pet. These photos are so incredibly important.
Contact me directly to book, or use our booking site. Proof of illness and proof of donation are both required to confirm your session.

Should I book a Celebration of Life session?
Our pets are our best friends– family–so it can be devastating to receive bad news about their health. A terminal illness diagnosis is just the beginning of the grief process.
We do everything we can at the end of our pets’ lives to soak in the remaining time we have with them and give them the best time–medication, play dates, favorite meals and snacks, extra loves and cuddles, maybe even mud-puddle-jumping– but what about the hole in our hearts that’s left? What about closure?
Sometimes closure might feel impossible. But I believe a celebration of life session brings a dynamic of healing not everyone understands they need…
moments of joy, tears, bonding, to look back on forever.

So, What's the hesitation?
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18
I also know how hard these sessions can be for everyone involved. Some of the most common reasons people don’t do it are:
- it’s just too hard.
- I’m not ready.
- The vet bills are piling up and I can’t afford it.
Trust me– I understand all of these reasons! It’s difficult to come to terms with losing our best friend. And we’re never really “ready” for it. I also know vet bills are no joke, which is why these sessions are discounted at $250.
I want to share with you that the most common response I get at any networking event or session when talking about End of Life photography is this:
I really wish I knew about you when my girl was still with us. I don’t have any good pictures of her, really. I have to make sure I do this with my next.
It’s always hard to hear that because I feel their pain, but also I know what they missed out on.
These are more than just photoshoots. So much more.
Still not sure you want a Celebration of Life session?
Here are some of our stories...
I came in contact with Lisa through my best friend who had used her for a
photo shoot a little while back. I had my two beautiful senior dogs who were
terminal and I wanted some last pictures with them. I contacted Lisa not sure
what to expect.
She came out to my home and was so incredibly sweet and awesome with all my
animals. She took absolutely amazing shots and was everything I could have
hoped for and more.
They passed not long after our photo shoot. They were my entire world. The
two best dogs I could have ever asked for. Lisa’s pictures were so beautiful.
They captured their love for each other and my love for them.
The memories she gave me and those last pictures are something I will hold
in my heart forever. I can’t recommend her enough as a person or a
photographer. She is amazing.

Lisa was absolutely amazing! She so humbly came into our home and made us feel so comfortable, especially our crazy girl. She was very professional but it felt as if a friend or family member was taking our picture. Layla is the type of dog who will literally turn her head away as soon as she sees a camera. Lisa was so patient and kind that Layla felt comfortable enough to even pose for some pictures (we’ve never been able to do that). The pictures came out amazing. She truly captured our girl’s personality. We couldn’t recommend her enough!!
