how to book a photo session:
I’ve spent countless hours working to streamline my booking process to make it quick and easy! Basically: we talk, we book, we shoot, and I’m there for you every step of the way. Once we book, I am your resource for planning, styling, and navigating your session.
1. Let's Talk: Schedule Your Consult
15-minute remote consultations are free! Simply choose your date and time, and I'll call you then. We will go over all the questions, details, and desires you have for your session.
2. Let's Shoot
I make Lovelee Paws sessions tailored and personalized to fit your photo goals. They're much less posed and more activity and prompt-based, but a mix of both. I want to capture honest, emotional, and candid moments of you with your family and pets as well as carefully composed shots. Your gallery will be versatile and authentic. I'll help you every step away, from planning your date and time to your location, style choices, and decisions for and with your pets.
3. Your Finished Products
You'll receive your own personalized and private gallery typically within 2-3 weeks. Your photos are yours to download and share. I've also partnered with a professional, high-quality photo lab to help you decorate your home with beautiful pieces of art from our shoot. After you receive your gallery, you have the option to schedule a private Showing where we can work together to create a print package for you, but you're also free to do this and order prints through our store on your own. Signature Albums are handcrafted and leather-bound with options to customize your cover in various colors.
Leash Editing
Most public spaces in CT have on-leash laws for dogs, and I abide by those laws. I take the time to edit out leashes in my editing process, which leaves everyone worry-free about both being in the moment and in the final products.

Frequently Asked Questions
Dogs that don’t sit still deserve to be in the photos, too! Not every pet will sit and pose for their photos, and that’s okay. Our sessions tend to be dog-lead, meaning we will “go with the flow” of the day and follow their needs and lead to make sure they don’t get too stressed and that it’s an enjoyable experience for everyone.
Yes. Each portrait session has a set amount of digital files included.
Bring anything you think will help your pet, such as favorite treats or toys. Feel free to also bring a blanket or mat you like to sit on if we’ll be spending time outdoors. Weather-depending, also bring layers you can easily change out of.
We will keep watch of the forecast following up to our session, and if we decide the weather is going to be a real problem, we can either reschedule for a different date or move to an indoor location.
Yes, of course!
I do not own my own studio, but rather rent out a studio space in Hartford, CT from a selection of four spaces for all studio sessions.
Yes. I have over 10 years of experience working with animals, and this includes dogs with various behavioral issues. I have great knowledge of body language and behavior and am willing to work with many personalities and quirks. Please let me know ahead of time so I can accommodate.
